Wives Group
The Wives group meet weekly during term time on a Thursday evening at 8.00pm. They usually have a guest speaker who gives a talk on a wide variety of subjects or activities of interest to ladies. During the summer months of July and August the group holds coffee evenings in some of the member’s homes. Each year the wives group adopt a charity to support with several fundraising events held throughout the year.
Coffee Mornings
Two Saturday mornings of the month our church building is open, 10.00am until 12 noon, for a coffee morning. Different teams staff the coffee mornings giving them each a slightly different emphasis:
First Saturday in each month
Tea, coffee and squash, home made cakes, second hand books and Fair Trade produce are all on sale.

Third Saturday in each month
Tea, coffee, squash, bacon butties, and home made cakes are all on sale. Table tennis, board games and themed craft activities are all available. There is also a Police Surgery supported by our local Police Community Support Officer, (more details below).
Police Surgery
Our Church is situated in the “Tranby” neighbourhood which is served by “C” Division of the Humberside Police Force. One of the Tranby Neighbourhood Police Community Support Officers attends our third Saturday coffee morning, providing an opportunity for you to meet privately with an officer to discuss any policing issue of concern. This is a drop-in event so you may have to wait a few minutes. You can find out more about the local Policing Team by clicking here.
